If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, breathe in the fresh forest air, and enjoy a warm, family-style welcome, we would love to host you in our guest house. Our property is a cozy, unique independent unit. Built with insulated blocks, it is beautifully plastered inside and out with natural earth and clay, giving it a charming, warm rustic look while keeping a comfortable temperature all year round.

Inside the House:
We styled the interior with a simple, natural, and calming touch so you can feel right at home. The unit features an intimate double bedroom, a main living area with a comfortable sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen (including a fridge, stovetop, and cookware) where you can easily prepare your meals. The bathroom offers a wonderfully hot and refreshing shower.
Please note: Due to the layout, there are 3 steps at the entrance and 2 small internal steps separating the living area from the bedroom.

The Yard, Pool, and Our Hospitality:
The house opens up to your own private patio overlooking a beautiful forest view—the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The large garden is shared with us and our children. We are happy to share our above-ground pool (an Intex pool, 3.6 meters in diameter) for a cool dip on warm days, as well as our large trampoline. Although the yard is shared, we deeply respect our guests' privacy and will always be thoughtful and considerate, making sure you feel completely comfortable to enjoy the space at your own pace.

Access to the property is very easy for all types of cars, and there is plenty of free private parking right on site.

Where Are We Located?
Our home is in the quiet village of Nogueira do Cravo, offering a peaceful retreat that is still close to everything:

An 8-minute drive to Oliveira do Hospital town center, where you'll find supermarkets, local restaurants, and cafes.

A 10-minute drive to the lovely river beaches of the Alva River, perfect for a swim or a relaxing afternoon by the water.

A 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk to the village’s large public pool, which is surrounded by green lawns (entry is just €1.50, and kids under 13 go free).

A Little About Us & Body Wellness:
We are a family who loves nature, peace, and meeting people. We work in education and alternative medicine, and our private clinic is located just a short walk from the guest house. If you want to add a special touch to your stay, you can book (in advance) professional body therapies, massages, and holistic treatments with us to fully recharge your batteries.
